Rachel's been sick the past few days and even Monster is out of commission after getting his shots at the vet's office. He's been hiding underneath the bed the whole day.
Rachel has a fever and colds, she's been checked at the doctor's office yesterday. It was supposed to be a well-child visit that turned into a sick child consult. Thankfully, her ears looked okay and the doctor thinks it's just viral. Hopefully, she'll snap out of this soon since she's been so restless at night and insists on sleeping on top of me or at the very least on my shoulder.
I'm hoping this lasts only a day or two more.

I can just imagine how stressful this is for you. Hope Rachel and Monster start feeling better!
Thanks for all the well wishes! Monster is definitely better, he doesn't need to be carried down the stairs anymore. Rachel is slowly improving, fever is down but still has the cough and sneezes.

Monster used to sleep next to me actually. However, he has discovered the comforts of his own bed. In short, he uses the other bedroom as his bedroom or the sofa. Nyek.
