I know I've been blogging for 4 years now (had it been that long already??), but there's a thing or two that perplexes me whenever I bloghop. I always see "MEME" on other people's blog. Can someone enlighten me what the heck that means? It looks like a question and answer thing, but what does MEME stand for really? Why can't it just say Q&A? That makes things a bit clearer, right? This reminds me of the time I didn't know what EB or LOL or ROLF meant. Actually, there still a bunch of acronyms I don't know since I don't really text (gasp).
On other fronts, I will be significantly poorer next week since I'll be sending in my payment for my specialty board exams. The studying never ends.
Still have nowhere to go for fellowship. I'm still on the interview trail, that's why I've been travelling an awful lot. Sigh.
Rachel had finally said the word "MAMA" yesterday. I was beyond ecstatic. We've been trying to get her to say that word since forever. She tries though. She'll take a deep breath, pucker her mouth and starts saying the word and with bated breath out comes the word "PAPA". She looks so proud of herself and utters it again for good measure. But yesterday was different; she finally said the correct word. She does know who mom and dad are. Because she'll point correctly when you ask her where mom or dad is. It's saying the word that she had trouble with. But that belongs to the past now. Hooray!
Carlos looks pretty hot these days. Because he's been taking Rachel to the YMCA on a daily basis, he's been forced to work out (he likes it too). His chest looks better, and his arms and legs are solid. Pure muscle there. I'm still holding out for ripped abs. Maybe one day.
On that note, I need to start working out again. The arms are getting flabby and the belly is getting saggy. Aack! That's not a pretty picture. I need to keep up in the looks department.
Monster had been shedding less hair. Does this mean he is less stressed?
